Bar girls & etiquette
Many beer bars on Soi Bintabaht and Soi 80 have bar girls who will chat and drink with customers. Lady drinks (drinks you buy for them) cost around 150 THB, with a portion going to the woman. It’s a normal part of the scene โ you can politely decline if it’s not your thing, and no one will take offence.
Getting home
Grab and Bolt work well in Hua Hin at night and are usually cheaper than tuk-tuks. Tuk-tuks wait outside the main bar areas but will quote higher prices after midnight. Green songthaews stop running around 21:00 โ plan ahead.
